Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore Morrissey, and while I can't attend every concert like a certain miss Julia, I do go to many of them. I opted out of the Staples Center gig due to the exorbitant ticket prices. I mean I love Morrissey, but not for $140 plus service fees. Lucky for me, he scheduled a last minute gig at Hollywood High School and I was able to score a ticket for a lot less than the previous concert. The last time I was there was in preschool for our Christmas pageant, and swim lessons. Anyway, the show was general admission, which meant if I was going to be front row, I had to get there early. Ideally I would have found my place in line around noon, but since I was driving in from SLO, I got in line at 3:30pm. Doors opened at 7:30pm. Moz fans are known to be patient. It was a lovely evening of song, and had I known I could have taken in my camera I would have gotten some amazing shots, but I have photographed Morrissey in concert before, so I didn't mind. Russell Brand gave a wonderful heartfelt introduction reminding everyone why we love Morrissey. These pics I took with my cell phone, because it doesn't matter what camera you have, what matters is your talent for capturing the spontaneity of life.
